My lovely cat, who is always there for a cuddle when I'm feeling blue.

My cat Krys. Cuddling him always makes me feel warm and comforts me when I'm stressed or sad. Sometimes I can pet him and play with him for hours.

Since I can't have him with me all the time, (I wish!:) ), I've grown used to carrying a small, very soft teddy bear with me. If I'm stressed I can take him out of my bag and squeeze him in my hands. The one I bought some time ago and become very attached to is a light whitish beige, with curly hair and a soft cloth in his paws that says "hug me" :)

I actually have a small notebook (it's the size of a wallet) that I carry with me all the time. In it, there's pictures I took or cut out of magazines, quotes I like, little poems, etc. There's something in there for any situation.

I have several "comfort objects", of one kind or another. I have a pad of paper at work which I use to draw things to make me feel more relaxed - and when I start to get nervous or agitated, I tend to start touching places on my skull: the small dent in the back, or the scar from my surgery just above the right temple.

And when I have them with me, I tend to keep hold of at least one of my action figures if I feel on edge. Shifting their poses or just simply holding them makes me feel a lot better.

I use a security blanket. Have always done, will always do.

Along with my teddies, I'm doing just fine.

Used to wear some prayer beads on my left wrist. Just had a calming effect on me. (Damn it, I hate using the word effect, or the word affect, I always, always get them confused, and can never tell if I'm using them right... >_<) Only problem was that the strings kept breaking. Now they're bagged in a zip-loc in one of the pockets of the bag I haul my laptop around in to and from campus.

I have a stuffed animal bear from when I was born named Malamb. I think it means lamb in Danish or something. :?
I always put him on my head, and I sleep with him when I'm at my mom's house.
