I got it on Steam a few months ago and it's awesome... the BR 143 add on is my favorite.

I used to have a PC that could handle it, and I got it gifted to me, so I used to play it.

I don't play it all that frequently but when I do I find it rather immersive. I have only recently got a graphics card powerful enough to play the game smoothly (and the recent upgrade from TS2012 to TS2013 has made game crashes far less common too). I particularly enjoy the Woodhead route which in reality has been closed for many years and the Class 76 and 77 electrics used on it are either scrapped or static exhibits (except for a 77 in the Netherlands). I used to live in Sheffield, have been to the site of the old Sheffield Victoria station, have walked the Deepcar-Penistone and Silkstone-Wath sections of the line and travelled from Manchester to Hadfield and Glossop. I am also looking forward to the release of the Port Road route covering the old railway from Dumfries to Stranraer and Portpatrick, another closed route and one that I have only experienced through watching old film. I loved the shorter free version that came with TS2012 just covering Dumfries to Kirkcudbright. Also particularly like the Deltics, awesome locos.

No but I'll have to look it up, it sounds like something I'd enjoy, being a steam trains fan!

I take it you've been on the ELR then?

No, I've never been to that one. My family are planning a big day out to York this year to see the 6 surviving A4 Pacifics at the NRM though. I have seen Bittern in action several times, she's a beauty.

And I am going out soon to see a steam loco pulling a tube train on the Circle Line for the Underground's 150th birthday!

And Tornado currently has blue livery and I can't wait to see her pulling the Steam Dreams trains again come March!
