Soon I will be attending a seminar with a Norwegian guy named Oddbjørn By who is an expert in memorizing. He claims he can teach regular people to memorize a thousand digits in a matter of hours. That's not my ambition though :-P

... but back to the question, I never went beyond 3.1415927 (the seven's rounded off). On the other hand, I did obsessed for a couple of years with using certain calculators that had so many decimal places to multiply 1.111111111 by itself to get 1.234567890.
