A few weeks back i was given a letter by my mum which she picked up in the doctors which basically tells you all about groups in the area for aspies to meet and parents with aspie children to meet :)

Anyways we rang them today and for once in my life the women at the other end understood everything and anyways to cut a long story short I've been invited to a meeting on the 17th of this month to meet with other aspies in my area as well as my parents being invited to meet with other parents and i really cant wait :)

That is great Dave! I hope you enjoy finding some people that you can empathise with more easily. Good luck building your new relationships.

Yes, I've leardnes about a support group that's getting started and getting together in my local area (Pioneer Valley area of Western Massachusetts) as well. It really does help to have move people like us whom we can meet in our areas. We are not alone at all, and we really need to be there for one another, always. I'll be in constant hope and prayer for your local groups to go well, along with mine.
