Hi everyone, I don't visit very often, but I've been working on an idea for a website, which is NOT designed to replace WP, but whereas WP is all about discussing issues, it will be simply about identifying and chatting to new people, however you want to. Similarly to Aspie Affection, it is based on a piece of free software but it is better in terms of it's search functionality. It would be a very effective version of the "Looking for friends" and "Eligible Odd-bods" pages, where you can set your own criteria.
You can search for "anyone with Asperger's within 25 miles of my looking for friends", "Any single females aged 18-30 in the UK looking for a relationship" or "anyone who likes Sherlock Holmes", and you can decide how much you tell other people. There is even a lovely map which you can choose to appear on, and unlike anything here, everything looks like it's working!
At the moment, I'm working on a way to reference your WP account. I'm not quite ready to launch and start advertising it yet, but I need a few potential users to test it and see what they think!
