I do and I'm not an aspie, it's just one of the aspie traits that I have. How about you?

This sentence should be:

"Do you tend to correct people's claims, grammar, et cetera?"

-OR-

"Do you always correct people's claims, grammar, et cetera?"

The word "grammar" is spelled with an "a", not an "e".

Repetition of a word in a single sentence is redundant and superfluous.

To answer your question in the spirit it was asked: yes, I tend to correct other people's mistakes.

It depends. I do if doing so would be helpful in some way, and usually don't if it wouldn't or if it seems like I'm correcting just for the sake of it (though I might anyway if I know the other person won't mind).

I begin far too many sentences with "Actually..." for an answer of no to really be very true. I've, thankfully, stopped correcting people's grammar for the most part unless they explicitly ask for it or are just outright incomprehensible to other people reading their messages. I think I tend to correct my family's grammar in real life more than anything, actually. It's interesting to note that 100% of the answers to this thread are yes, which causes me to infer that this is actually quite common among aspies.

Oh yes. Especially facts. Sometimes I'll correct someone's grammar but usually only when it's written. We don't speak correctly down here anyway and our dialect is peppered with atrocities.

Yes, and it might be because I have OCD. (I haven't received an official diagnosis.)

I had one course where I corrected the teacher so much that he got to where he really hated to see me raise my hand.

Yes. I would often see myself correcting people on what time it is. Like for example, someone would say, "it's 12:30" and I would in fact tell them "it's 12:26". I would also correct people on facts (particularly pop culture/history facts) and sometimes grammar.

I try very hard to be conscious of what I'm saying so I don't come off as a jerk, but yes, I'm usually compelled to gently correct people on factual errors (usually followed by several minutes' worth of further elaboration on the subject). I don't really do the same if somebody mispronounces something, same when I see spelling errors online; as long as I understand the point they're trying to make, I don't feel the need to correct something so trivial.

Yes! Especially if it's related to a special interest.

Everyone does it, that's why Wikipedia works.

One thing that I find particularly irritating is when someone claims that GMO is the same thing as selective breeding. I am always compelled to correct that.

If its something history or science related and grossly oversimplified for political reasons, then yes, I tend to get a little pissed and call them out.

Sometimes I correct people (not so much grammar, but with facts and stuff), but I'm not as bad for this as I used to be. People got pretty annoyed after a while, and that was when I realised I shouldn't do it that much.

I can't help myself at times, though.
