Has anyone had this?

I have been taking it a few months and suddenly almost overnight my stomach has bloated out and I've put on weight. I don't think I'm eating any more than I was before. I feel really bloated and lardy, it's horrible. I've researched a bit and found that it happens with some people and that it affects your metabolism. There is quite a lot of anecdotal evidence that it does this.

Yes this is an unfortunate side effect. I had to get off the stuff. Sertraline is evil.

I've had this experience too, it's awful. Once you stop taking it, the weight comes off again.

I truly hope so, not only do I look about 4-5 months pregnant most of the time, but the feeling of constant fullness is awful.

When I used Zoloft, I gained 20 pounds; I wasn't eating more or anything of sorts. Once I stopped, the weight came back down.

Not always. It took controlled anorexia and veganism to knock mine off.

No, in some people it can cause weight loss but in more it will cause weight gain.
