M. K. Ciurlionis

M. K. Ciurlionis is probably my favorite artist, so I decided to post some links to his work here. He was a Lithuanian Symbolist painter who mostly used pastels; they say he could have been schizophrenic and had spells of oneiroid visions once in a while. Maybe that's what gave his work such a dream-like, ethereal quality.

In any case, I love it and there's something in it that I feel I can relate to.
