What are the kind of things NT's want? Flirting e.c.t According to one NT friend its ok just to text 'hey' to the person, which personally I find pointless!

"NT"s usually play this game where they pretend not to want the other person for a few weeks, until enough 'social dancing' has taken place that it's acceptable to move on to a relationship... or they just get it all out on the first night.
It's quite ridiculous, I had a female room mate who was 'seeing' this guy (not dating - there's 'seeing' first - I seeee you!) and she would panic about whether or not there was a :) or :D smiley at the end of his texts. A ;) is of course sexual.
It's all really stupid to be honest

Yeah but the "hey" just means your acknowledging/ thinking about them and then you take it from there. It all depends on the situation really. Sometimes it's okay to say certain things and sometimes it's not. As far as what people want in a relationship type thing is a genuine person with self respect and who cares for them.

Of coarse some of them don't want a relationship at all and some of them only want sex, it all really depends on the person. Basically the point of that social dance is just to build tension between the two.

heh... if I knew what NT's wanted I wouldn't be separated and on WP. ;)

The only thing I know they want is conformance.

They have a few very specific, predictable needs. Push the right buttons (there's a limited number), and you're golden. NT's are very simple. We, by contrast, are incredibly complicated and have much more sophisticated needs. So I think we are better at meeting NT's needs than they are at meeting ours. This is just my personal opinion based on personal experience, however.

Tell a girl she's pretty and special often enough, and buy her enough stuff, and she's yours. Then, do a few things like pretending to be empathetic (mirroring her facial expressions and body language) when she talks about her shallow, ridiculous problems, and suddenly, you've satisfied all her emotional needs too.

We are all different. Some need more affection than others. My sister isn't the 'huggy' overly affectionate type. I on the other hand need a little more affection. Some are clingy, some will be willing to give all the space you need and then some. I'm in the middle. I need to spend time with my s/o but then I want to go do my thing and I don't care If he sits in the house all day playing video games, as long as I can go hang out with my friends. Some might get upset if their guy spends all day doing stuff. So many variables!

That coin has a flipside...
My ex used to enjoy knowing I wasn't out a-wanderin'... but eventually wanted more drama... er... "interesting" stuff outta' me.

Wish I'd mastered that balancing act sooner!

Don't get me wrong, I would like to do things together. But I'm into video games as well so that could count as doing things together. It is a balancing act though.

Well technically i'm not an NT man but a bit of playful flirting always helps when you are indicating an interest in someone, just don't go overboard on the makeup and you should be fine.

Are you looking to find a potential partner or are you looking for, well, you know

Some NT men can be jerks sometimes, where they want to have an awesome time with their "bros", and meet beautiful slu*ty women
