I wish I could go to Autreat, but I probably can’t afford it this year.
If anything changes, I’ll be there.
I only attended once, a few years ago, and it was the most incredible thing ever.

I first heard of Autscape through Wrong Planet in 1999 when I enquired here about any autistic meetups which may happenin or near London during my holiday there in the summer. Someone said that Autscape was on then. I have been to Autscape every year since then and have actually been arranging my holidays around Autscape. When we were at Ammerdown near Bath, I had a holiday in Bristol and Exeter. When we were in Belsey Bridge in Norfolk, I had a holiday partly in Norwich. When we were in Ackworth, I spent the next few days exploring Leeds, Bradford, Sheffield and Doncaster. I'm looking forward to another Yorkshire holiday this year, to include my second visit to Ackworth with Autscape.

This one has a poll. This forum often has duplicate threads (with and without polls) for various reasons.

I'd like to go to Autreat at some point, but this year it's not going to happen.

Autreat sounds interesting, but expensive.

Hmmmmm, I may visit this year.

I have to admit, I think one of things reducing the WP interest in the Autreat/Autscape events is that comparably little is known about them. For privacy reasons, that policy probably should'nt change, but one would hope that more information would be exchanged on WP.

August will be here soon enough (4 months), and I was wondering if other WPers might be in attendence.

I'd love to go, but I blew all my funds last year at a Trek convention :D so I can't afford to fly all the way out to Pittsburgh, one of these days I'd like to try it though.

Apple_in_my_Eye,

While the above message was apparently redacted, I am trying to understand your (presumably) negative views towards another Neuro-diversity movement.

Could WPers who are going please PM me? I have a few questions I'd appreciate the chance to ask.

Has nothing to do with politics; is purely personal. OTOH, ANI mixes the political and the personal.
