Chord progression question:

I've just got my first acoustic guitar. I can play bass already. What I'm wondering is, can I use the following chord progression in a riff: Cm7-Dm7-Fm7-Gbm7? ("Gb" means "G flat" in this case. The fingerboard and the body is hard to get used to, but I have some scale knowledge from playing bass for almost 3 years.
