I think your brother is probably a George Clooney or Val Kilmer fan. For all intents and purposes, he made Batman dark again. Regardless of his voice in TDK, he still pulled it off with an intensity that messrs Kilmer, Clooney and even Keaton never had.

Just stop, please. We've been through this a dozen times, and i think your brother must of been high or incredibly stupid to suggest George Clooney is a good Batman. He was terrible, his interpretation took a massive dump over the original franchise's corpse.

Christian Bale is the best onscreen Batman, Kevin Conroy is the best voice.

I'm not a fan of Christian Bale but I love the Dark Knight trilogy to death. Also didn't he get arrested a few years ago for assaulting his mother. What the hell was up with that?

I absolutely hate the idea of Batman in general. I despise the idea that they changed it from a comedy to a straight up Steroid Lover, No Gooder!

So he should be a camp one-line spouting superhero rather than a dark, brooding vigilante who spends his nights beating criminals to a pulp? That 60's logic died a long time ago, give me the brooding side anyday.

Lexington don't get offended by this but why do you fly of the handle at anyone who dislikes nolans take on batman or in general does not agree with your opinions on what batman should be like? We are entitled too have different tastes. :)

For the record i have actually grown too enjoy Nolans films recently but i still enjoy watching batman 1989 and batman forever for fun/ childhood memories as well. I don't take them as seriously as nolans bat films but i certainly don't despise the movies like a lot of bat fans do. I suppouse though if you are a die hard fan of the comics then i can understand why most fans dislike past batman movies.

I already said I love the Burton films, just not the Schumacher abortions. I would put the Bruce Timm and Rocksteady versions of Batman above Forever and Robin anyday,

So why constantly start pointless threads on championing Val Kilmer and Joel Schumacher?

He was really good In American Psycho. I'm huge fan of the Dark Knight Trilogy so of course I think he's a wonderful actor.
