Pokemon is not for autistic people at all, and here's my justification for it.
When I was in my mid teens, I worked at a swimming pool. A good number of pre-teens (kids ages 10 to 12) would come there. They were the most hardcore NTs you could ever meet: they talked about things like dating and fashion, they yelled and acted generally rowdy, and they harassed the people working at the pool (me including). At the same time, they constantly talked about Pokemon, and even carried around Pokemon cards at times. By the end of the summer, I was sick of anything having to do with Pokemon.
Moral of the story? If such hardcore NTs can be found playing with those cards, then Pokemon is definitely not for autistic people.
