I have the problem that I cannot tell if a guy likes me or not. I never really had a serious boyfriend. The only reason I know I had one is that the guy I spent time with kept telling me how "beautiful" and that he "loved" me. That's the only reason I knew. I know this is a problem of Asperger in that I cannot read other people's body language. I flirt (at least I think I do), but I don't know if a guy is flirting back. Does any other Asperger people have this problem?

I do too  , but that is why I keep in touch with my buds at the college I flunked out of, so I can visit and get tips and stuff in person.
Some day I'll figure it out. Good luck!

my very recent and totally novel GF [met her on WP] told me that she was sure that if only i could read and transmit body language fluently, that i'd have been married decades ago and already have grandchildren by now! but i seem to lack the body language genes entirely. i've tried to learn it the manual way but it might as well be in martian or something. :?

It is a constant problem... I'm bad at flirting and detecting flirts. I either try too hard or fail to display my affection entirely.

I tell people to just whack me with a 2x4 if they see something that I obviously do not. That hasn't worked yet, lol.

I do get lucky when I am desperate, which in my short existence on this earth is after about a year or two of solitude. Sometimes it leads to long term relationships sometimes its just a hook up. I'll take what I can get.
