Do you have ASD with other learning differences? This includes intellectual disability, and/or problems learning how to:
spell
write
move body parts (motor planning) or speak
read
math related
or other

Yes but I was told it's related to my autism.

I think my learning differences are autism-related also, with early birth trauma.

Nonverbal Learning Disorder (NLD) --- which means difficulties with:

visual processing
sensory integration (listening to a lecture about something concrete and then applying it -- killed me in the military)
following directions
navigation
fine motor skills
not knocking things over
using technology
doing most everyday manual tasks
executive function/planning (though I have ways of adapting pretty well; I can mostly achieve the same results through instinct that most people achieve through conscious planning)

Inability to drive and very slow reading if they count.

I would say they do count.

Spell=no.
Write=no. It is very hard to read my writing though.
Move= I hate always running into things or bumping into people. That's super mega awkward.
Speak= I can barely do that. My one workmate knows this and makes a point to communicate in a visual and tactile manner which is how I process things.
Read=no
Maths=no
Other= Besides not speaking much, I'm not sure.

Ha, they tried to say I had this, but the evidence disproves it. I'm not terrible at executive function, I am a hardcore visual (and tactile) processor, I love manual tasks and using technology. I program and operate CNC lathes, as well as working with conventional lathes. Somehow NLD doesn't fit the picture. :?

I've always been the classic "little professor", and ironically it's because I've always been so good at schoolwork that I wasn't diagnosed with aspergers until I was 25. my therapist has often said that if I had had more academic difficulties as a young child I would likely have been diagnosed and gotten support a lot sooner. instead it took me until the 9th time I dropped out of college to even get the ball rolling on that stuff. :roll: I had huge social problems my whole life but I was clueless enough that I didn't even notice or consider it a problem until I was well into my teens.

I've dropped out 10 times but it's always been because of psychological and emotional problems. I've been called a genius all my life, which probably only made things worse, but oh well.

I have NVLD, and as a scientist, my ongoing struggles with math forever make me feel inferior and inadequate. I am fortunate to have mastered more mathematical/visual-spatial skills than most with NVLD, but there are so many areas that I cannot master no matter how hard I try. NVLD is also the reason why I'll never be able to drive. :roll:

Haven't been diagnosed with anything as of yet as I just recently started seeing a therapist, but I strongly suspect ASD and Dyscalculia. I have great difficulty doing anything that could be considered multi-tasking in a person to person environment, such as driving or working with multiple coworkers behind a desk.

I have yet to get a drivers license. Trying to juggle the rules of driving, monitor all of the gauges, keep an eye on other vehicles/the road, and also keep an eye out for possible dangers is a recipe for an instant meltdown. Not to mention the tendency for people to talk in a car, weather conditions, or a passenger having the radio playing. I do fine driving go-carts and ATVs solo around a field or other desolate setting, but all of the added pressures and sensory input along with social interaction is far too much for me. I don't see it being possible for me to drive on a more than emergency basis.

I have autism, and I think I also have dyspraxia. My motor skills are below average.
I definitely have mild Irlen syndrome, a disorder where you feel uncomfortable reading (sometimes writing) on white paper.

My spelling sucks a little
It has been bloody hard for me learning to write, still have troubles with it
I've never had speech issues, but I have issues with motor skills
I've learned to read without problems, even though I often can't understand anything of what I've just read
Never had issues with math, buth rather with geometry
I don't know about other

But shrinks have told me that my issues are probably related to AS or ADHD, I guess that's true.

I've had significant trouble with math as far back as elementary school, but according to my parents I also tested into the college range for reading at the same time. My mother was laughing about that earlier this week, actually. She thinks it's unusual since I have little to no trouble with things like programming, despite the fact that what I do requires very little math and isn't (in my opinion) in any way similar.
