This song tells me, "Hey, bub, life ain't as bad as you're making it out to be." The 2nd section is so uplifting it makes you put the gun away.

The worst song for me is Love Song-Tesla. Not that i ever think about it cant you tell? Just remember you are loved more than you know. Ive been on both sides of this image and nether are good.

If you are feeling sh***y almost any song by Leonard Cohen will generally help you feel suicidal.

But then for something uplifting, Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen and sung by K D Lang is hard to beat.

Metallica's 'The Unforgiven' has always been one of my go-to songs when feeling down. The music video is especially good, there's a ton of symbolism within it, it's a work of art really.

I had a lot I used to listen to, at that time I found them to be depressing and they could easily trigger me into doing things. Now, when I'm not suicidal anymore I find them hopeful. I must have read different meanings in the lyrics depending on which mood I have.
