Lately I Just Dont Want To Be Touched

I've always been more or less fine with contact... Like I'd rather sit on the floor than have to be bumping knees all night because the couch is crowded, and I'd rather not share a bed, but other than that I'm usually ok.

But recently I just don't want to be touched. At all. I've never liked being touched on my neck/shoulder area, but I don't even want to be hugged lately. All contact is on my terms, initiated by me. My mom just says I have space issues.

I usually don't like getting touched, either. There's only a select group of people who can touch me in their own terms. I know what you mean, in a way.

Hmm, I notice some of my sensory issues seem to be getting worse too. I've noticed recently that my tolerance for sound has dropped significantly. I've always had moderately sensitive hearing to everyday sounds, vacuums, hair dryers, restaurants, etc, but lately it seems that even noises I was able to tolerate before such as cars driving past on the road and the garage door opening have become painful for me too, it's rather disturbing actually.
