If you could know one thing about the next 100 years

If a time traveller, or a genie or something offered to tell you one thing about the future (100 years) what would you like to know? The only condition is that it cannot be anything personal (like your life, people you know).

I would like to know if people continued with their polluting ways and destroyed the Earth. Or if humanity learned from its evil ways.

definitive cures for AIDS/herpes/super G/all age-related illnesses.

I am interested in how technological breakthroughs change how societies act. From the art and culture to language and ethics, if I could see 100 years into the future, I'd be overwhelmed with the whole of it.

i'd really love it if some time traveler from the future brought back video of the time s/he came back from.

How does the future look back on my present generation/time period; like the opinion they have of people & society of my time

I would ask for the release date of Half-Life 3. As an extension to that, I would also ask if it was as good as people hoped.

Reading some of the other posts, I have realised that it's not the best question to ask.

How will pop and rock music be revolutionized in the next 100 years? Will it be the same as it was now, or will the results be different with new instruments and technology?

I'd like to see what TV sets would look like if they were still being made.

Within 100 years... wow. It would be impossible to recognize today's world.. but I'd ask them how they really feel inside .. are humans still around? Have computers / robotics usurped the life that were presently on Earth? I'd have many questions I guess..
