Issues with long time NT partner
I've been in a relationship with an NT person for a few years now and it has been a struggle. Early on I explained to them that I had certain ways I acted that might seem unusual but never came out and said I am an aspie. I very rarely say that I am because in past friendships and relationships I've gotten a lot of abuse for it. I had honestly forgotten I never told them. Finally 2 weeks ago we had the talk and I came out to them. Later that night they did a bunch of google searches on dating an aspie and told me the next day that "NTs dating aspies always lead to horror stories and I don't want to go through that." This makes me sad. Does anyone have links to good stories/articles of an NT and an aspie dating that might give them some hope that things can work out? I really do care for them and would hate for this to end because google can be awful.
