There are hundreds more PC games than there are for the Wii.

If I were to buy a Wii, I would at least wait until the console becomes more popular before I would buy it. THEN, there would be more games available for it...
XBOX360 was out for nearly a year before the Wii and PS3, so of course XBOX360 has a bigger game library. Same with PC, which has been a gaming platform for my whole lifetime and longer. To me, it doesn't matter how many games are available, it's the quality of the game, price, and whether it suites my tastes. I already own about 9 Wii games, and I've owned a Wii since the day it came out. I've never purchased so many games for a system so quickly.
You might as well wait until the Wii is more readily available, nevermind more popular. Hardly any stores have it in. The Wii and related parts (controllers and such) are relatively hard to find (hense why it not surprising someone in this thread expressed desire for owning a Wii, but has been unable to locate one thus far). I think a shipment arrived today in the US though. So if anyone wants a Wii, and you live in America, you might want to check out Best Buy, Target and those sorts of places
Although you may be out of luck already. Check out these articles on blogs about people trying to get a Wii today [
