It is often said that men fall in love with a woman during her absence. Given that aspies need more alone time than NTs, is this even more true of you? Do you fantasise about the woman when she is gone or is it more like out of sight out of mind?

I tend to find my feelings deepening for someone in her absence, yes. This actually happened to me over the last few weeks.

I don't get sexual feelings towards girls I am interested in whether I am with them or not. I know that's weird but rather that than be like one of those blokes who's got nothing better to do than chase women ;)

I definitely prefer to be near the women I like.

It's true of men in general, aspie or not.
Aspies may just have more of a trouble keeping obsessive thoughts in check if they are getting obsessive about the said woman in question - in which case it would work better than usual.
