Woman and gay men, do you like hairy men? Personally I think a little facial hair can look very nice, and sometimes looks better than clean shaven, I think it depends on the person and their face shape, whether facial hair looks good on them or not, just like a hair cut. What do you think of body hair on men?

And men, do you like to have body hair and or facial hair?

1...2...3...go!

I like to grow a winter beard, because it keeps my face warm from the harsh elements.

I always wondered because of this fact that women can't they develop beard envy.

Me too! My hair grows very fast, especially in summer, by winter I can wrap it round my neck. 8)

I usually keep short facial hair or a five o-clock shadow. When I'm completely clean-shaven I look like a high schooler, but when I let it grow it looks like a pubes nest.

@ladywoofwoof and belladonna25 that maybe so. But nothing beats the real thing of brustley, beardy beauty.

You must be a little curious or dare I say envious..

When I was young I really didn't like hairy guys. I was a kid in the seventies and was repulsed by the gold medal on the hairy chest thing.

Now my tastes have matured. I like civilised, intelligent men during the day, but at night I like 'em tough, hairy, a little rough, and slightly stupid - i.e. a neanderthal.

Unfortunately, my husband is a neanderthal during the day and a bit too smooth-skinned and civil at night. Lucky he has hairy legs, or my son might not exist.

Dear Mr Bogan,
No female who does now or ever did walk the face of this planet suffers from beard envy, unless she is seriously mentally ill, or "a man trapped in a woman's body"........

.......any more than any man suffers from menstruation envy.

Sincerely,
BlackSabre7,
speaking on behalf of every female with any self respect in the entire human race.

Quiet similar as the poster before me. As kid and young teen, I found hair ugly. I think its pretty normal, because you are most of the time surrounded by boys your age that simply dont have hair on their legs or chests then, and the only one you know with hair, are fathers and like all old people beyond 20 they suck and are uncool, so looking like them is as well. ^^

When I became older, it got opposite, now hairless chests and body reminds me of little boys, you want to hug and cuddle, but for sexual feelings its a big misadvantage. ^^

When I was 15 I dated an Indian boy. SomenIndian guys I have noticed are able to grow facial hair faster I think, and at 15 he had a full beard and side burns, I liked it, maybe I was attracted to it because it made him look more mature, tbh to this day I'm usually attracted to men who are older than me.

What if the head is bald but the rest of the body is pretty hairy?

Comparing the unbridled awesomeness of a beard to the horrifying torture of menstruation is a pretty bad comparison. Just nit-picking...

I have a lot of hair on my legs/arms and quite frankly hate it. Not to mention, shaving your face every day is no fun, one of my least favorite activities! Especially considering how fast my hair grows, if I go a single day without shaving it looks like I have half a beard already lol, within a week or less I pretty much have a full one.

Personally, I prefer guys who are comparatively hairless.

To me, the guys I know who walk about with stubble just look (at best) like they're lazy and couldn't be bothered to shave or (at worst) downright hobo-like. ;-) I'm really not wild on the wiry face-pube effect, or being sandpapered.... but that's because of the sensation of being touched, and not about how it looks. I have very soft skin though, and I assume that it bothers people with more leathery skin less than it bothers me.

Some of my guy friends confuse me, because they will write mopey FB posts about how they are unable to get girlfriends - but then walk about with an entire shrub sticking out of their faces, or constant hobo-stubble. 8O offputting much !

:-) But all of that said, I think a lot of people can get quite into snuggling into a full-grown beard.
And, my understanding is that a lot of women find the stubble look stylish and attractive visually, even if they don't like how it feels against their skin.

That may be bothersome, but I've heard of men being jealous of the ones who can grow beards
Practically overnight. It's viewed as more manly I think, but just read just now that it doesn't actually correlate with the amount of testosterone a man has.
