I'm being told that I would have to get in by this fall or else all of my credits evaporate. I have to ask permission to be readmitted. I don't know what I'll do if they don't readmit me. My career prospects are dim if not completely without hope.

What was your standing when you left? Did you take an academic leave or were you dismissed?
