Aspie minds make much more sense, and I think that if everybody's brain functioned this way, the world would just go along much better. I do not think that it is just because I make sense to myself, and other aspies make sense to me, but it is just... logic. Logic isn't an opinion, and it is always true, and always connects in a true way that works like nothing else. I am not saying that people without Asperger's syndrome do not think in logic, because many do, and it is beyond that anyway. I think that if everybody had an aspie mind, these silly little misleading things would not develop, such as just generally everything that is explained in ways that is just..... incorrect in ways not explainable.

Some with less usual personality types do think in similar ways though.

Totalitarians are tiny people.

I disagree with this although I do think it would be nice if autistics/aspies were more common.
The world needs all different types of minds to have different types of ideas or it wouldn't function as well.
We need normies just like they need us. We also need all the other types of "abnormal" people as well.
If everyone was the same it would be a very boring planet.

You mentioned, "I think that if everybody had an aspie mind, these silly little misleading things would not develop".

Would it not be more accurate to say, "if everybody had a highly-logical mind,..."

You obviously appreciate your own sense of highly logical thought, which is great to hear of course.
I also appreciate my own highly logical thought, and I'm often frustrated having to deal with decisions that are made by people who demonstrate a lack of logical reasoning. I know many non-Aspies who would say the same thing.

Most likely, if you list all your strengths about yourself, and list all the things that bother you about the World, then the chances are that there are plenty of NTs around the World who also share your strengths and your frustrations. Such NTs also benefit from a highly logical mind, but they also have the additional benefit of not requiring rituals and repetitive, predictable daily routines, nor the need to stim or have meltdowns.

So back to the original argument, are you saying it's some quality that's *exclusive* to Aspies/HFAs that would make the World a better place, or is the argument more like "if the World population had a minimum IQ of,say, 120, then things would be so much better... etc.". ?

I think it would be a nightmare. Plus, having seen aspie "logic" in action many times, I think it would mean there'd be lots of arguments over details that don't even matter, with everyone thinking they're right, when actually they're totally missing the point because they're basing their logic on one detail that they interpreted too literally.

Aspies can indeed have great specialized things to contribute to society, but to put it bluntly, we also have important shortcomings, and we must admit that we have a lot of essential things to learn from the NT's around us too.
Therefore I would correct this statement as: The world would be a better place if there existed a better interface/understanding between the aspie mind and the rest of society.

The world would be better if all people were just more intelligent full stop. This applies to all humans, whether ASD or NT.

Being intelligent is not exclusive to Aspergers syndrome, and being stupid is not just an NT trait!
