I'm curious as to the socioeconomic status of AS guys here, so I'm posting a poll! If you voted and you want to, go ahead and post your age in a reply.

You might also allow for age. I've found alot of people posting here are students and don't have full time or any job yet.

I'm in college. but should be making at least over $40,000 when I get out, but of course all depending what I do, very likely jobs could be several tens of thousands higher. Speculation of course, but I have every reason to beleive I have a good shot at gettingone of the govt jobs I'm looking at. The highest paying job I have had was $12.25 an hour as a government intern.

I make $13 an hour currently (about $27,000 a year).

I will be going to college full-time in August, and will only be working part-time while I am in school.

When I graduate with a bachelor's degree(my degree would be in geology), I could start out anywhere between $40,000 and $75,000 per year--depending on what type of company I work for. I could be making over $100,000 a year after five years--especially if I go on to get a master's degree.

I found a chucky cheese token on the ground the other day. So
annualized thats 0.25 X 365.25 = $91.31 or 91.31 / 2000 hr = 4.6 cents and hr.

Looking at a major change, moving from the bracket of around $12,000 to something closer to that 40k mark you were pointing at. Part of that is having a position where I can actually put my degree to use, all I can do is cross my fingers and hope they're the right kind of people (so far all the signs have pointed that way).

In US dollars? I'm making about 20,000/year working in a group home. That's part-time, average 24 hours/week. I could work full-time if I wanted to and make about 33,000/year, but I don't want to work full-time and financially I don't need to because my husband makes just under 40/year.

I work for a moving and storage company. where my pay rate jumps up each summer, which is the only time I worl

first summer was 8 dollars an hour . second Summer was 10 dollars an hour. Thrid summer was 10.50 an hour. I'm not sure what it is this summer. But I think it's like 11 or 12 an hour. Though I am looking for a better job. But then again. a job like that is hard to come by. Going to a christian college, there are summer camp people there a lot, offering jobs. I look at these, and like what the offer, but then realize, that what they offer per week, I make double every pay day. per pay day is usually 200 to 300 dollars. it's a monday through friday job, 8 to 4. Though this summer, I'm gonna try and go in earlier around 730ish and try and work a half day Saturdays as well. I have virtually no money in my account and I doubt I'm gonna make RA.

I just got hired into a full position at a company I've been temping for for the past 9 months. So now I'm making 16.83/hour, roughly $35,000 a year. Once I get around to finishing my BAs in Computer Science and Mathematics I should be able to find something else where I'd start around $50,000 or so. I'm not in any rush, though.
