Had my first job for about 14 months. Shortest job was about 3 months. Longest since is my current job. I've been working as a temp at this company for 9 months and they just hired me on full.

Same job off/on from 1988-2005 but college from 1993-1996. Alot of part time at that job. Some years of no work. As I have been the last two.

I worked for a restaurant for 1-1/2 years and I have had my current job for about 1 year and 4 months.

This is my 3rd year at my current job.

Of course it also helps when your boss is your stepdad ;)

Four years. After several years of working a series of short-term temporary jobs in the library field (anywhere from 2 weeks to one year, most of them 6 months), all the library jobs disappeared because of public sector funding cutbacks. I got a job in a bookstore, and was there for four years. Then a computers-internet-software company lured me away with a job in which I ran the company's online bookstore, and that lasted four years until the company went under. (The bookstore was making money, but was only 1% of the company; the Internet division had turned into a great big huge money pit.)

I've been with my current employer for almost three years, and intend to stay there until I retire 20 years from now.

I've been at my current job just over two years. Before that I worked 3 1/2 years (my longest stint with the same employer) but had to leave when the company went bankrupt.

1 yr, 7 months. Now I'm unemployed living off of SSI. Will look for a another job soon but I dunno when. Right now I need to have my car fixed.
