My name is Wesley. You can refer to me by that name, Wes, or simply my username. I really don't care which.

I first was made aware of my diagnosis of Asperger syndrome when I saw an Individualized Education Plan which was written for me.

I joined this forum because I am currently at a point in my life right now where I could use compassion and belonging. I just want to relate to someone.

My passions include music, writing, reading, sleeping, video games, studying random stuff to enlighten myself and spending time with the few friends that I have and my family.

My favorite bands / artists are Gorgoroth, Linkin Park, Bullet For My Valentine, Tsjuder, Thy Light, Happy Days, Phil Collins, Steel Panther, Marduk, Slayer, Kreator, Mayhem (in case you haven't gathered that already from my username), Deicide, Bathory, Ad Hominem, Dimmu Borgir, Dope, Aeon, Huey Lewis and the News, Shining (Sweden), Devourment, Metallica, Immortal, Darkthrone, Evanescence, Ensiferum, Tyr, Cannibal Corpse, the Black Dahlia Murder and Judas Priest. This is only naming a few.

As for books, I enjoyed / am enjoying American Psycho, the Harry Potter books, Fight Club, Ender's Game, the Outsiders, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Of Mice and Men, To Kill a Mockingbird, the Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, the Scarlet Letter and the Chronicles of Narnia.

I haven't watched TV in a while but I really enjoyed Futurama, Samurai Jack, Friends, Lloyd in Space and SpongeBob SquarePants.

I value love, peace and justice, as well as art and creativity. I hate intolerance, unwarranted cruelty, authority, bullies and sadism.

Welcome. Slayer, Kreator, Mayhem, Deicide, Bathory, Darkthrone, Immortal and Ad Hominem are among my favourites as well (of which there are probably hundreds).
When it comes to metal I mostly listen to death, black and thrash with bits of other stuff thrown in every now and then.
Anyways, enjoy the forums and hopefully I'll see you in some of the more metal orientated topics.

P.S Check out the year by year top ten lists thread started by LexingtonDeville and let me know what you think of the choices (which are mostly metal orientated).
