Hello all,

Here once again.

Today i have received yet another rejection. This one was in truth no different from the others, no more harsh or fair. But I think it is just one too many. Added to the pile of well, all of them.

You would think that 33 years of it would make it easier, but no.
I am struggling to except the reality that some things are not for me.

I am not at my best tonight and the old urge is returning.
Since my mother death I no longer have the one restraining influence.

Such is life.

We are trapped. Get out while you can.

What's the real trap? And what's the real thing to escape from?

I wish you well.

I understand how you feel. Rejection can be draining. This lyric from a Coldplay song sometimes makes me feel better when I feel sad - "I know the sun must set to rise."

If something doesn't work, its time to honestly reasess your situation and make changes, or use different methods, etc. Its not time to give up.

they reject me.
because
they do not understand.
I do not care.
I will not reject myself.
I may not be normal
to them
but I am normal
to me.

From Philip Roth's "This Be the Verse":

Man hands on misery to man.
It deepens like a coastal shelf.
Get out as early as you can,
and don't have any kids yourself.

Rejection isn't failure. Failure is giving up. Everybody gets rejected. It's how you handle it that determines where you'll end up.
