Am I the only one who tends to sweat a lot more than most people I know? I noticed it gets really bad whenever I have to go socialize at work or school, and sometimes it even happens when I'm talking to people I know. Does this happen to you?

It's an anxiety thing.

Definitely agree that it's an anxiety issue.

I'm like that too. If I get nervous in public then I start to sweat a lot, then I get nervous because I'm sweating which makes me sweat even more.

I've started carrying around extra deodorant and sometimes even extra clothes if I know that I'm gonna be somewhere that I'll start sweating. It really helps me. :)

Yes definitely. It started for me when I was about 11. Dove clinical strength anti perspirant is my friend. It's not 100% effective but it's way more under control. And yes, it's an anxiety thing apparently. Although I often don't even feel anxious when it happens.

I think it is related to anxiety. I get really sweaty when around other people. I HATE shaking hands because people always try to find a way to wipe off their hand after being doused in my hand slobber. I sympathize. It sucks.

Most of my life I used to sweat like crazy all the time, and even more so when I was anxious.

My hands would be wet all the time, and my armpits were often dripping down my torso into my pants. Those were the worst areas.

It pretty much stopped a few years ago, maybe because of a head injury that made a lot of things in my body go awry. I sweat way less now.
