There is a problem with oxytocin that I have read about in the past, but was not mentioned here: Oxytocin does increase affection for members of the ingroup, but decreases affection toward outsiders. The example I read was that a woman in love has higher levels of oxytocin, which increase her affection for the man in her life, but simultaneously increases her aversion to other men. I'm not sure if this factor would apply to autistics, but it will be interesting to see how the research plays out.

Oxytocin can be bought in supplement pill form. I think I'll try some myself :)

And feel and texture. Like most medication, probably helps some people and doesn't help others.
