Is anyone else bothered by printed tiles?

I'm speaking specifically at the ones with deliberate imperfections, where there are only a limited number of variants in the set. You can see the same pattern, like a drip or a mark repeated over and over.

The tiles are typically laid without structure and are different ways up to conceal the repeat, but it still stands out like an affront against nature!

Am I alone in this?

I see this all the time. A pattern of tiles meant to appear random, but with an obvious repetition. The repetition pops out at me and makes the entire pattern a sham, a phony. I am very sensitive to repeating patterns in tile patterns, rugs, wallpapers, you name it.

I can't say I'm bothered by them, not usually anyway. I enjoy seeing patterns in things.

No, you are not alone. I can completely relate, for various reasons. Mass produced to look handmade would be my No. 1 quip. The incongruity in the placement would bother me, as well, however, not nearly as much as the attempt to make something look original or unique, while being mass produced.

I notice them, but I can't say it bothers me overmuch. I am usually de-stressing or very bored when I notice patterns.

The more often the tiles (or laminate planks!) repeat their pattern, the less variety of design and less expensive they are. So when I notice the same pattern all over a floor, I just think it looks like a cheap floor.

After viewing the tiles within the link that you've shared, it is apparent that I misunderstood the nature of your initial post/question. Ooops.

Many people consider occasional Saltillo Tiles with imperfections to be quite attractive:

Nope, that doesn't bother me at all.

The image on the right is not a true representation of what the backsplash would look like if the pattern on the tile on the left remained the same.

It doesn't really bother me, but I definately notice it. Like, if I'm staring at the floor(which I usually do), and it has a fake pattern that's supposed to look like a rock, I can see where the pattern repeats. It's fun to find corresponding speckles that are on all the tiles.
