I was dx'd with the following in '94 (age 32 at the time):

Major depression
Schizoid personality disorder

People were only just beginning to become aware of AS at the time; which is probably why my psych profile just says "may seem odd to others."

ADHD at the age of seven
AS as of last month at the age of 33

There were conflicting dx's of bipolar/possible schizophrenia when I was in my mid-teens, but it seems that it was just symptoms of the AS that hadn't yet achieved "official" status until 1994, and thus, no way to properly dx at the time.

Tourette's Syndrome (not official)

ADD

PDD (which I exclaimed to my parents that PDD is used to classify and not a disorder)

Communication Disorder (whatever the heck that is)

Officially:
Sensory Integration Disorder (April 2006)
Bipolar II (July 2006)
Central Auditory Processing Disorder (Jan. 29 2007)

So, these diagnoses w/in a year. All a part of me finally trying to figure out why I was having so much stress and trouble in life.

Autism in my early years and then it changed to autistic behavior when I was four or five because of the hearing loss.

ADD when I was about ten and OCD and dyspraxia and sensory ingretion dysfunction when I was about 10 or 11.

Depression and anxiety at about 12.

I've had speech disorders too and I still stutter.

i was DXed as female back in 1981

:)

but seriously, i was DXed with post tramatic stress my senior yr in highschool (they thought my writing portfolio was nutters and sent me off to the nuthouse) and that led to officially dealing with some issues with depression and such in general.

before that, i had been seeing some psychs when i was in 1-2nd grade cause they thought i was gonna flunk outta school on account of being ret*d... yet somehow i wound up in magnet school after their DX/ IQ assessment... which loosely translated into "i was bored with the material"...

everything else has been self-medicated :P
