i'm newly-diagnosed just before DSM V came out and killed the disorder.

Never had a girl-friend. Never saw any point in one until now that i'm 54 and alone, i can see where sharing one's life can be a stabilizing factor with this world in turmoil.
Never even kissed. Had no use for face-sucking. Saw nothing in it. Still don't see the use. No i'm not a gay male, i find myself to be "straight" as a plumb line and so square i could "cut myself on my edges."
Methinks i belong in the Victorian era.
Never "did it."
i was extremely pre-occupied with being an undiagnosed social autistic who lived simply to get through each single day at one time. Not that i was never interested but <1> diseases and <2> it didn't seem like the "nice" thing to do, stopped me.

Any other virgin aspies out there, or am i the only virgin adult in the world still?
Ha ha.
Have a good day and thank you for your time.

:)

Pffft no. Not like I've been a hacker since 6th grade or anything.

I got two years up on you  and was diagnosed over the summer and am so straight I don't like to watch porn with men in it. Virginity bothered me in my teens and into maybe part of my 20's. Somehow despite EVERYTHING in society pointing in the opposite direction I figured out that just like some people are not cut out to be athletes some people are not cut out to have relationships /sex. All the divorce endless time on and off-line people spend discussing their failing relationships convinces me that I'm right. I could have paid for it but to ME it would be losing it on a technicality. Also fear of disease. I do thank my aspieness for the logic and stubbornness to go against the overwhelming tide.

I have rarely felt longing or loneliness. For a while after my diagnosis I was curious. If I went for it I would be dealing with very different people and much more acceptance so maybe it might work. Based on the posts here I am losing that idea. Me thinks I like being by myself to much to give the wonderful aspie/spectrum women what they deserve.

Still a virgin at 36. And, I had my first kiss at age 26 by a girl who was 17 at the time.

Still a virgin. But I'm MTF Trans, so not only do I suck socially to interact to have a relationship, I'm not comfortable with my body to the point where sex is not an option.

I am and I'm twenty years old. I'd be lying if I said it didn't make me feel a bit strange sometimes but I am starting to get a little more comfortable with it.

Twenty is nothing. Despite what high school comedy films might make you think, there are plenty of teenagers who are virgins by the time they reach age 20. Don't worry about it one bit.

I don't know if there's a certain age by which someone "should" lose it, but if you haven't had a romantic relationship by around age 30, you might want to evaluate your social life a bit....I know I sure did.

When i turned 30 socializing even with Raquel Welch would never have happened.
Socializing was an appealing idea but still the last thing on the planet i wanted.
i'd take the bullet rather than have socialilzed. Unfortunately.
Now at 54 i have to learn what i've been coping to avoid.
Highly recommend you google "youtube Reese Jones" for good Aspergers videos.

We are undoubtedly non-typical when it comes to our sexuality.
Is that bad? No way.
Life is supposed to be difficult, or we'd all be a bunch of "wimps."
We're just different, not wrong.
Like i said, i considered sleeping around something i was pre-occupied from, and considered it "not nice" and "makes diseases."

Attitudes are likely confused or repressed. i claim both.

Have a Happy Day!

:D

Well, I don't think too many Aspies would care to "sleep around"...but many of us do want an intimate relationship where sex becomes a natural result.

I try to keep reminding myself of that.

It's fairly accurate. :)

I haven't had sex in years, although married, and have never had an orgasm from sex. Can't. Too many other distractions for me to reach the "unitary state", as Dr. Andrew Newberg describes it, where you zone out and have an orgasm. Can do it from masturbation and growing up in the 80s made me a porn addict like most guys, but it's just a release. Close the eyes, mentally dominate a "pornchick ideal" for a few minutes (or a half hour or more on tough days) and crank one out because it feels good.

31 y/o virgin here. The more time that goes by, the less I think I will ever have sex.

Overall, not really a big deal to me, as a man I can take care of my own urges. I do not want any children, also I am terrified of std's. Sex just doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

I am slightly curious as to what it would be like with the right person, seems like a popular activity, there must be something to it?

But i'm sooo nervous around women, I can't even "man up" and go for a kiss, never mind the whole monty. I'd have to be somewhat drunk, or high I think to go through with it.

Very proud to hve saved myself for that one true love - that seems a very private thing that I'd only want to do when married.

I couldn't vote "yes" though becasue this dumb thing popped up asking if I wanted to share and I got discombobulated.
