I'm not sure if that was the right title! I mean, what are your favourite objects, that you like for sensory reasons?

Mine are my silk pillowcase, my long woolen scarf, my weighted duvet, and my tablet (it's lovely to tap on!). :3

My tickle (silky piece of material I rub) and George, my stuffed penguin. He is soft and I like to rub him against my face sometimes and cuddle him. He is George.

Also my duvet, the one I sit under on the couch.

My hair. I really like running my fingers through my hair, or gently running my nails on my scalp. I also really like touching my ears, especially when they're cold.

When I had my pets, it was nice to stroke. I'd snuggle and cuddle with my rabbit. Her hair was like so soft and fluffy.

i don't really have anything, and this is probably an area i should develop since self-soothing is a real challenge for me.

i would have to say for now, any furry animal (especially cats and horses), and my computer. either posting someplace like this, or watching programs. in fact, that's what i'm doing right now - destressing from a conflict.

i used to video game a lot, but since they all use "talk" channels now instead of text chat, and i prefer mmorpgs and they have all become very group-based, i get bored with them quickly. also don't have the computing power to run a good game effectively. and i suck at pvp which pisses me off to no end.

growing up it was our household pets and reading. i used to read non-stop. i don't seem to be able to focus enough to do that anymore. also hard for me to find books i enjoy. i think the last one was "the librarian."

Ditto. Even the smell of some new books and magazines is very pleasant. Others, not so much.

Music.

Pencils, pens and erasers and drawing in general.

This time of year, it was my lambskin bomber jacket with the satin lining, but I've loved it to death, I'm afraid.

I've always found the buzz of the tattoo machine and the smell of antiseptic Green Soap very soothing.

I used to have a fleece I loved to death but it was some years ago now.

My duvet and sheets.

Plus I have a great long sleeved shirt. Its the perfect color, great smell when it is clean, nice and soft, and fits just perfect. Always have a good day when I wear it.

I thought I was the only one! I love playing with my ear lobes when they're cold. Always have. I'll also twirl and play with my hair... yes I'm a guy and straight.
