Is it an aspie trait to be accused of trolling?

A lot of times, when I post topics on online forums, I have been accused of trolling or seeking attention. Several times, people did not believe my stories and accused me of making the up (not true at all!)

Does anyone here relate? Could this be a difference between aspies and NTs?

What did you say that made them accuse you of being a troll?

It's a trait of mine to troll, but I mostly just do so in physical reality and surrealist ways...

Lot of people get accuse of trolling. I think it's more common in people with learning disabilities and that includes social and anger. People will also decide what is true and what isn't true and who is real and who isn't.

I know I get opinions that I am convinced are correct and I am difficult to dissuade from. I am willing to argue those opinions to the end of the earth and back and when I but heads with another of my type or someone who can't take dissent I get accused of trolling. (or when I'm misinformed tehe)

Its possible to be perceived as trolling if you dump an opinion and don't get involved in the back and forth of debate, after all you know whereof you speak, you have shared your logical wisdom and logically therefore you move on. NTs online aren't like that, they want to "make friends" and do so by engaging in verbiage and banter, which is not usually easy for someone with Aspergers, pedants that we are!

People with Asperger's are honest and may not know what is socially acceptable or not. There are plenty of real aspie trolls. I sometimes mildly do it. Usually when I'm tired, can't focus and overcoming a bout of depression. I just stop caring.
But many times people have accused me of trolling when I've just been speaking honestly.

To be honest I think trolling is a waste of my time. I'm too emotionally unstable to ever to be a full-time trolls like some people I've known.

Well, I do like fishing. I've never caught anything trolling though; the damn fish always used to hit the other fisherman's lure.

I've done some trolling in the past and I honestly find it exhausting because you have to put on an act and keep it going. I don't know how people can do it for hour and days and years and never be themselves. I have felt attempted to troll after I had my child just to have fun and mess around and see how people react. One time I wanted to say on a childfree forum as a guest that the reason why "breeders" go on welfare and WIC is to piss people like them off and all us breeders get together and talk in private and plan to go on welfare and make people like them (the childfree on the forum) mad so they could rant about us and we all lurk there and watch it and laugh about it how we are getting to them. But I was too lazy to type it so I didn't do that trolling and I didn't want to not be able to view the forum again. I just like to go there sometimes and read what they post and say about parents. It's all drama.
