Hi, I'm Ali. I'm 19, from Scotland, at the moment I'm a studying history and politics at the University of Glasgow. I was diagnosed with Asperger's (as well as dyslexia and ADD) when I was 7. But since moving away from home I've found it harder to cope with, I think because I am so close to my mum. So that's why I'm here, to see if it will help me feel less lonely. I have only ever met one other person with Asperger's ad we did not get on well so I am curious about meeting more.

My big passion is football. I support Arsenal, Falkirk and of course Scotland. So are there any other football fans around? I enjoy talking about it.

I love football, no, wait! You mean European football - like wot we call soccer. Other than a soccer ball has a pattern on it reminescent of an implosion type nuclear device' (fission - plutonium) core including lenses, I know squat!

Ali, I'm going through the same thing right since I went a way to college. (This is my second year a way from home but I'm five year of college.) I also have a very close relationship with my mom, which makes for long phone calls in the evenings. Also, like you I have dyslexia and ADD with AS. So have fun posting here and this site really does help you feel a little less alone in the world.
