Doesn't look like much to me. It's pretty, though.

Since it's an X-ray image, it wouldn't look like that to our eyes. It's a neutron star blasting the surrounding gas and dust with high-energy particles. The long-wave X-rays were depicted in red and short-waved X-rays assigned blue.

It does look like a hand. But as to whether it is the hand of God, metaphysical logic would indicate that would need to exist on a transcendent plain of existance and thus would not have a physical body. But as a keja, being capable of directing energy and matter, could make a symbol of a hand out of matter.

Since when does God have only three fingers on His right hand?

Weren't we created in His image?

Or should we amputate our pinkies to become more holy?

If you look at the palm of the "hand" you see the thumb, but only see three fingers. But if you look at the top of the hand (behind the red gauze) you see what looks like four (actually five) finger tips. The fourth from our right looks like its attached to the palm at a point hidden in shadow about where a finger should attach, so you tend to read it as a whole finger (the fifth is too far to the left to connect to the palm of the hand in a normal way so you dont read it as a finger tip). So it could be taken as either three, or full set of four fingers depending on where your eyes hit the picture.

Its something called "Pareidolia" which means seeing patterns in things, like this "God's Hand" or seeing animals in clouds, faces in other things, etc. Of course its not literally God's Hand but it is still very interesting to me. I love Astronomy. I look at these pictures of different nebulae. Yesterday in one of them I thought I saw a dragon, but its not really there its just how people's brains process the information. There are patterns in every single thing in the Universe, including here on Earth. Everything is predetermined. Personally I HATE that. That means everything that has happened was set in stone. That is why these patterns exist.

Didn't know God literally had a hand.
