What are your Top 10 favorite games of all time?

Mine are:

10- Golden Sun: The Lost Age

9- Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem

8- Final Fantasy VI

7- Chibi-Robo

6- Chrono Trigger

5- Bayonetta

4- Super Mario All-Stars

3- The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past

2- Xenoblade Chronicles

1- EarthBound

And yes, most of them are Nintendo owned games

the last 2 arent really games, but I ran out of them, so I just threw those out there.

This is difficult but something like this:

1. World of Warcraft
2. Forza 3
3. Diablo 2
4, Caesar 3
5. Age of empire 3
6. NHL games on Xbox360
7. Warcraft 2
8. Rollercoaster tycoon (the original)
9. Forza Horizon
10. Euro truck simulator 2

There are lots of other good games, but those are the ones i probably have spent most time with, or have some other "value" to me, like Warcraft 2 was the first game I played on PC for instance.

I can't possibly form a definitive top 10, since I've played too many great games to count over the years, but I can list ones that come to mind. I suppose I can take a stab at it.

1. Harvest Moon: Back to Nature
2. Persona 3(all versions)
3. Mass Effect(all games, which are kind of like one big game)
4. Chrono Trigger
5. Corpse Party
6. Resident Evil 3
7. Resident Evil 2
8. Tekken 3
9. Sly 2: Band of Thieves
10. Persona 4

That list changes depending on how I feel, so it's not set in stone. However, the top 4 are pretty solidified. They can maybe move a position here and there, but they won't move very much.

It is difficult to limit it to 10, but I will try, some may be in my list solely for the online aspect, others for being deep single player games.

1. Deus Ex (the original for the PC)
2. Half-Life 1 (much love for the other games but the original practically shaped my early years as a gamer, I was 12 when it came out and it was one of the best games I have ever played)
3. Ultima 8
4. Ultima Online
5. TES3: Morrowind
6. Final Fantasy 10
7. Persona 4
8. Counter-Strike (I will go ahead and lump the GoldSRC versions, Source and GO all in one here, I have equal love for everything in the series)
9. Chrono Trigger (I practically lost myself in this game in the mid to late 90s)
10. System Shock 2

Ugh, that was very difficult, so many great games that I left out. I will note that I am also an enormous fan of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series, Bioshock series, Batman Arkham series, Halo series, Resident Evil series, Doom games, Wolfenstein games, Duke Nukem 3D...sheesh.

I tried to list games in my top 10 that had a very special influence on me, though. While Wolfenstein 3D was the first ever shooter game I played, Deus Ex and Half-Life 1 were probably the most influential to me, games that really sucked me in and didn't release me. And then in the 90s, Ultima 8 was a game I played to obsession, while I later discovered The Elder Scrolls series, I didn't play Arena or Daggerfall in the 90s, I somehow found the Ultima games instead, which caused me to go on to play Ultima Online A LOT between the years of about 1998 to 2002, when a lot of my friends from that game started playing Dark Age of Camelot instead so I followed them to that game, then later to WoW. UO got me into MMORPG games though and made me feel like I was existing in another world.

Oh one honorable mention is the Half-Life mod Natural Selection, I think this originally came out in 2002, I remember playing it a lot in high school, really cool and unique game. A sequel came out in late 2012 on Steam.

Mine does too, but my top 5 haven't changed since Xenoblade made the cut. Even A Link Between Worlds couldn't quite make the top 10...this is why if/when I ever do my Youtube channel my Top 100 Favorite Games countdown will start with 80 or 90 in random order followed by actual top 10 or 20 countdown. Same for my Top 100 Favorite Video Game Songs.

Ok, mine in order of excellence... and I'm rather expecting that a number of things on my list wont be recognized by most people here:

Oh boy, those Pilotwings games were really awesome. As a kid, they played into my fascination with flight and aeronautics, I had the SNES and N64 versions. Since Microsoft abandoned Flight Simulator a few years ago, the gaming world has kind of lacked really fun dedicated flight games. It'd be cool to see a new Pilotwings game for the Wii U or something.

Okay here's mine. The 1st being my most favorite, 2nd being second most favorite etc..

There's are only the ones I can remember that I like. I'm sure I'd rearrange the list if I really think hard and remember all the thousands of games I actually played.. Ah it's difficult to decide once you get to number 5..

I can't say I never considered starting a YouTube channel. I would have a hard time coming up with a top 100 anything. Songs would be even worse because games often have many of them. I've played a lot of games, and by extension, have heard many times more game songs. I could maybe do some top 10s like top 10 licensed games, or top 10 best female characters, or even top 10 games no one seems to appreciate but me. I would avoid a top 10 favorite games of all time list as much as possible. I would probably focus more on theme months than top 10s TBH. I don't have a YouTube channel, because I don't have the equipment or personality to pull off a successful Internet show. YouTube's recent scandal doesn't help convince me otherwise.
