We all seem to dream of jumping ship to move elsewhere...

lets show some national pride and remind ourselves why we live in this land.

I've just heard we might be getting a cool change by 5.00 this evening.
My power went out yesterday so I couldn't even have my air conditioner on.

Yes we get the weather after you, my water usage will be up this week I watered the garden this morning.

I feel that they should put the roof on at the tennis centre, imagine playing tennis in this heat.

they should cancel the tennis like they do the cricket. it is dangerous to be out in this heat.

The weather broke here so I went to the beach. 3-4metre waves. It was insane and very fun.

I've seen it so hot here in Arkansas that we cooked an egg on a manhole cover. The summer before last it was a 111F which is around 48C I think.Peoples chickens were dropping dead from the heat and I saw birds come to the bird bath for water that never leave the canopy.Even a little grey fox came to drink water out of the yard. But the reptiles loved it,the lizards thrived.

In my city it was 5 days in a row at those temps. You know it is hot when aussies are complaining about the heat.

The Bureau of Meteorology says that heatwave conditions are supposed to be easing this weekend. Max temps here in southeast Queensland have only been around 30 °C this past week, but by Monday it should be our turn for a heatwave. Bushfire season seems to be starting up again, too. Eeep.
