People, WP members included, are telling me to lower my standards and write drivel. I hate them. I hate them, I hate myself, and I hate the fact that I haven't written jackshit.

More of such conversation would infect your brain. I propose such persons should be notified that you will continue to express your unfettered erudition.

I think the larger guidance from Cyril Connolly's life (not his words) might be to marry money, then spend one's life mooching off of her and her family, as well as from one's on family. :)

ignore them. the best talent is always divergent, imo.
