With the help of some amazing friends in the special education community, I was able to write a book that can help children be more successful and less frustrated in math class as well as in life after high school. Math can be such a battle for some children, and contrary to the stereotype in the movie "Rain Man," not every child or adult with autism is comfortable with mathematics: in fact, it's more common for the opposite to be true. A lot of the recommendations and suggestions in the book are for using technology (online games and apps) to increase retention in less time than a typical night's homework. And as I've tried to do with the reviews on my blog, autismplusmath, my suggestions for specific games include adaptations that will reduce the frustrations for your child that can result from anxiety and sensory processing issues.

I am providing for free this Saturday February 22nd, copies of the ebook on Amazon. Starting at midnight Saturday February 22nd, you can download your free copy at Amazon of my ebook, 8 Tips for Improving Your Child With Autism's Success With Math.

Thank you,
Glenn Laniewski
