Small groups are cool but I actually feel more comfortable hanging out with one or two friends at a time. Would it be possible to organize some kind of AS friendship network where we meet up with one or two new friends at a time, organized on an ad hoc basis? I mean instead of trying to organize a big group thing. Whenever I hang out with groups I usually just end up talking to one or two people anyway. Does anyone else think this is an appealing idea?

Oh by the way I'm in Melbourne, Australia, 35, female, enjoys meeting, talking to and hanging out with other Aspies. I'd really like to make a female friend or two around my age who are also AS, especially if like to get out and about and do stuff like watch movies and hang out at art galleries.

I'm in the same position as you. ;)

Although, I'm on the other side of the planet, in Ontario, Canada.

I'm interested in meeting new people a couple at a time, rather than a whole big group. :)

I've never met another person with Asperger Syndrome, and would very much like to.

I'm hoping to get a chance to soon. :)
