You do certain things.I had a young girl asked
why I had my face Like that(I tend to make facial expression alot)

Not a kid, but I did have one of my college classmates asking me why I was shaking my hands once. I was too embarrassed that she saw to give her an answer.

I've had kids ask about my tics. I say because I have tourettes.

I've had classmates ask about my stimming. I usually say because I'm autistic.

When I was a kid, some kids would ask me why I do this or that and I was always too embarrassed to answer.

Last year a little girl told me, "You have one of those bird necks", looking at me in profile.
I laugh in retrospect. I tend to slouch my head forward and my adam's apple makes my
neck look kinked at an angle. Maybe I looked like a vulture to her. I'd say it looks more
like a tortoise neck, but whatever.

Back when I had a 10cm-long, slender braided beard, the kids would tell me it looked cool.
Adults were more reserved in their opinions.

When I was a kid, my peers asked me why I kept my shirt tucked in. I don't know why
it irked them so, but it put me in the dweeb category.

People think I'm trying to be funney. They do not realize why. Mostly I like to say it is normal. Or if you have to ask, than there is no point in telling you. And smile.

Not exactly kids asking an older guy:

Many years ago two [monkey-faced] boys (twins) intercepted and asked me why I was so shy. (My answer: "Some people is shy.")

Once a classmated asked me why I was doing "that" (rocking back and forth).

I've been asked if I "ever go to parties" or "ever smile" (It's rare. I smile a lot)

I've had tons of kids say how weird I am, or that I speak too quickly.

Kids and adults have made comments about my eccentricities. I just ignore them or shrug and continue about my business. Not worth the trouble to draw more attention by whipping out my phone or touchpad and typing a reply.

One time I had a little kid say to me ''you talk funny''. This was quite a few years ago now. But usually kids admire me and the more I act myself around them, the more they love me for some reason.

It hurts the most when kids ask out without any inhibitions.

Yes. Kids don't know that it is rude.

I never had kids asking or noticing my tics at all. I have Asperger's and I'm mainly affected with concentration issues (either if I take my meds or not), so I do tics like handshaking or humming or rytmic stuff with my body. This come more noticed when I'm stressed.

The only ones that ever ask me are my classmares, as they're the only ones Close enough to notice. I feel ashamed, as they mainly ask me to keep quiet in class. I just apologize, say it's my AS and try to maintain silence.

Probably the number one thing I overhear is "why doesn't he ever talk?"
Which is why I'm rarely if ever asked anything directly.
