If you play Loadout, I'm on the North America servers under the same username I use here, it's the chance of a lifetime! I'm not even that good yet, it's been years since I've played an arena shooter head to head, and it's taking a while to rebuild my 'shoot a guy in the head while doing a quadruple rocket jump back-flip twist from across the map' skills.

Seriously, it's a free to play game that's really fun, there are no set weapons, just different chassis and gun parts that you can combine to make crazy weapons, like my torpedo rocket launcher that shoots flaming mines that are laser guided and stick to people when they hit, or my Ghostbusters style Tesla beam with the silencer that arcs to other players but doesn't show up on enemy radar. It's a little buggy and it might give you seizures, but it's really fun if you like fast twitch games that are free.

G36, but the export model, not the K. It was a dealer sample that belonged to my employe at the time, that's the only way a civilian can own one in this country, and even then they don't really own it, their class 3 dealership does.

Yeah, it was pretty meh. but it's cool looking and it says 'H&K' on the side, which means people will pay $30 a mag to shoot it at events. It's basically a piston driven AR with slab sides.

I'm of mixed opinion on the G11, I mean the thing was a technical marvel, but you're talking nearly 30 years of development and god knows how much money, to say nothing of the numerous proprietary components, all to give infantry a marginal advantage, when infantry are rapidly dwindling in importance in modern warfare. Asymmetrical counterinsurgency type conflict is different, but even then propaganda and humanitarian work is where the war is won, so I see the G11 as analogous to the WWII tiger and leopard tanks; amazing pieces of expensive and complicated engineering that for all their technical superiority are overwhelmed by cheaper and easier to mass produce weapons systems. I think the G11 actually was tested against the M16/M4 during the ACR trials in the 80's, and the increase in combat effectiveness was not enough to justify the price.
