who else likes skrillex or knife party

I like a few of Skrillex's songs, though I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan of him or his genre. If anything, I find Skrillex and dubstep as a whole to be too trendy and popular for my liking. It would be a better genre if it were less accessible and more underground.

But dubstep started underground in the 90's with artists like Skream and Benga, people like Skrillex dumbed it down and made it mainstream. It's not even recognisable anymore.

I actually knew that, but I was referring to the modern-day "dubstep", or "brostep" as the old-school purists call it. "Brostep" is the most common and popular form of "dubstep" nowadays, and as such it's also the form I'm the most familiar with.
