#remember there are people all over the spectrum on WP, and to take in to consideration different levels of understanding, life experiences, empathy levels, social awareness, introverts and extroverts etc- this community is for everyone on the spectrum and those who have association with it in some way [eg, parents or friends of people on the spectrum].

#please dont come on here campaigning against curing of ASD whilst supporting the curing of those of us with severe autism, and the curing of those who have profound autism-we are a spectrum and deserve to live as we please just like those with mild/moderate autism, its only those who see the disconnection and negatives of our autism from the outside who think we need curing when we actualy in many cases have good quality of lives with the right support, understanding, tolerance, equipment and specialists behind us.

#dont demonise self diagnosed people because everyone was undiagnosed at some point in their life.

#if are desperate to be understood and relate to other autistics, dont add people to the ignore list whose autism genuinely affects how they write/appear on a forum, simply go past their threads/posts,we need to start with ourselves if we want to recieve tolerance off others for our own difficulties and differences.

#dont assume everyone on here is telling the truth and if being harassed/groomed by PM or on the forums;tell a moderator ASAP,we have several notorious sockpuppeting trolls who dont know the definition of truth as lying gives them the attention theyre missing in their real life.

#if abused or accused on the forum, dont fight back; PM a moderator instead with a link to the post- by fighting back can end up with situations where the abuser/accuser uses it to their own advantage of escaping consequences.

#remember WP is largely made up of not just americans; many are from countriess which unlike america do not use the DSM diagnostic manual so the user may still refer to specific forms of autism [eg, classic autism, aspergers, cdd etc],telling them these specific forms no longer exist is incorrect as that only exists in countries which relie on the DSM and not the ICD manual.

#there are no cliques on WP,people who feel there are simply havent gotten to know anyone well yet, some people are more sociable and make friends better, some of us have been here years and still dont seek out private friendships.

#yes we all know the site is screwed and needs updating but just tolerate it like the rest of us until we get our update.

If you want a lot of replies don't post a wall of text.

Have a beer and a cigarette and think about your troubles....sorry, but sometimes it helps then again getting carried away with drinking never helps but sometimes you just gotta take a minute to yourself. If you don't like beer there is always coffee, tea, energy drinks, juice ect...much of the time I settle for tea I don't usually drink beer in the morning when lots of crap is on my mind usually I drink tea...but if its still really bothering me later on I might have a beer and just try and relax.

I guess my point really is take a minute for yourself when you need to...sometimes everything gets too overwhelming.

I tried getting off of the cigs and never realized how much they helped me. Doc told me I needed to go back on them as I was even more anxious and moody then normal. I really didn't want to but I tried ecigs and they are fantastic! No more coughing and feeling nasty, just the nic which I was looking for. Seems for someone like me it was a way of self-medicating. It helped me focus and without it I couldn't concentrate at all. Due to meds I am unable to partake of alcohol however. It and my depression med don't play nicely together. :?

Post what you want, as long as it's not against forum rules.

Don't worry, be happy.

When all else sucks, post cat picture.

Hahahahaha, that is so true and it's my problem a lot of times. I get so excited and concentrated on a topic that I feel like I've written a little dissertation sometimes. Seems like I throw too much at people all at once.

Be nice, have fun and follow the rules has always worked for me.

Personal things have learned from is, not to get frustrated over certain things like wall of text posts or site glitches and then post text meltdowns over them.

And I will be sure to stay out of Love and Dating ;)
