Has anyone ever witnessed arrogant couples like these?

Who sort of artificially play the "girlie flirt/bf jealous" role on some random unassuming guy in public they can't stand the sight of, just to mercilessly screw him over and get him battered by the "angry and jealous"-playing bf who playfully assumes his "unfaithful" gf was cheating on him with this random guy?

I'm sort of intriged by this bitchy phenomenom that I felt like making a thread about it and I wonder if one of you peeps have ever been a victim of or known couples who performed crap like this?

Sort of, although in my case it wasn't a male/female couple but two girls. Normally when I'm approached by a woman at a gym I treat it as a tremendous complement but these two were coming on a little too strong and in any case both of them were young enough to be my daughters.

Experience told me that they were trouble, the gym staff who saw the whole thing confirmed this (they also found it VERY amusing) and they got nowhere.

The golden rule:

If something looks too good to be true it probably is.

I've never witnessed this, although the idea is intriguing to me. I just don't understand why people would be intentionally hurtful like that. I've seen people insincerely flirting for free drinks, or such, but not just for a game. I wonder what they get out of it.

A girl who is willing to cheat on their partner is trouble. A girl who is willing to use you to make her boyfriend jealous will obviously have a lack of regard for his safety as well as yours. Any guys who want to play along or not stand up for themselves is simply asking for this trouble to happen to them. Of course now any girl that is willing to cheat on their boyfriend to make him jealous is to be avoided at all costs.

I agree 100%, but what I'm on about in this thread has got nothing to do with this as it's all play and act performed by both of them and doesn't really involve any actual cheating (just pretending to).

It's all just bully games to mess up the third person and get away with it publically.

Like everyone around them would think the random guy deserved it all as the couple theaterally feigned it that way to make the random guy look and feel guilty.

Ok, so they're both in it together. There is a reason why I don't often say much to women who approach me in places where alcohol is present.

Seems like the kind of couple that would also make out in front of you if they suspected you were lonely.

Yes, and the guy is a compulsive liar with no future, just without the flirting, but tons of PDA.

Doesn't sound like that would happen with anyone over 13.

I think you're coming up with vindictive situations that are only in your head.

The guy told me he was, yet also said a bunch of other lies.
I already know he was lying, for a fact.

The only thing he never lied about was being an a-hole.
I figure it might not be me you were responding to, but I know for a fact people can be as immature as a 9 year old and still be in a committed and intimate relationship.

The opening scene in Way of the Gun with Sarah Silverman... Benecio del Toro's character had the right idea when it comes to people like that.

Had something similar happen to me but I just ignored it ironically enough, however its like the couples that make out when they feel someone is lonely.

I think they just like to make out.
