Pheromone parties:

On one level, sexual attraction is simply a matter of chemicals. So could a scent-focused singles night help you find a new mate?

It's a bit like socially accepted knicker sniffing.

It's interesting that nobody picked authors bag even though it didn't stink. Were all men intentionally looking for the smelliest bags?

My girlfriend spends her working hours either at crime scenes or in a CSI lab, sometimes the scent isn't too good when she comes home which is why she normally walks straight from the front door into the shower.

It never ceases to amaze me how silly Brits can be.

hehe this sure sounds fun : ))
reducing myself to a dog in heat who sniffs its possible new mate in the air isn't on my liking though..

it's an insult :x
can a possible mate you snifed our because of his/her extra strong Armani perfume become a life partener,,, the chances are as small as for the rest

I've always been attracted to my mates' natural smell (without scented lotion or cologne). My current partner told me that he liked my smell long before we even dated or considered dating. I think "Pheromone parties" are a wonderful idea to find someone that is biologically compatible.

I think they should have a two-step dating process. Where everyone is sorted out based on their Myers-Briggs personality first with their most compatible personality types. And then from that narrowed down group, you pick them based off scent. That way you know the couple is compatible on a psychological and purely biological level all at once.
