There was this guy ranting on this Internet forum about how miffed he was that "only weird, fat ugly girls hit on him." Basically saying he was a fat girl magnet.

He made an interesting comment on the thread saying "even getting loads of tattoos I can't seem to get rid of the 'nice guy' look that the fat girls are drawn to."

Your opinions that comment?

Probably attracting girls who have self-esteem issues (and these can often stem from weight or appearance) that predispose them to being tolerant of the kind of attitudes others wouldn't tolerate. The number of people who are actually severely overweight or truly off-putting in appearance isn't that high, so if that's all someone attracts then it says something about them even if it's just their perception of others reflected in the way they treat them or the way they advertise themselves.

He doesn't have to date people if he's not interested in someone of their weight or appearance, but talking like that invalidates their interest and is an insult to him is something else entirely. Those people tend to have deep-seated issues of their own that they think secondhand exposure to beautiful, thin people and lots of attention from their preferred sex will remedy them of.

Interesting site there. Great bunch of lads.

If it is the one, I think ReverieMe clearly made sound points.

My opinion is he seems 14 years old.

He probably thinks he's a better catch than he is, I might register there and set him straight.

He needs to pull his head out of his arse and grow up!!

He should be lucky that ANYONE is interested in him at all, whose to say that these so called "fat, weird and ugly" women aren't among some of the nicest people around?!

Does he expect to attract model types or something?! There is usually a reason we attract certain types and if this guy wants to stop attracting these types of women the perhaps HE is the one who needs to take a nice long and hard look at himself, make some changes for the better and maybe he might attract some of the women he wants!!

My question is why does it concern you? Half the "speech" on the internet is derogatory, spiteful, or inane, my suggestion is just ignore it if you find it offensive. By passing it on you're only giving this person's sentiments more exposure than they deserve.

While I agree with is the OP is still entitled to discuss it and have an opinion.

Yeah.... typical derogatory PUA speak. It's awful and nasty but they expose themselves well this way. Imagine a world without internet and I/we'd been way more naive and unsuspecting of these people and their mindset.

I don't know what his problem is. I like a burly lass, as long as she has good self esteem and a great sense of humor.

I think that tells us all we need to decide how seriously to take his post. ;)

And yeah, that whole thread is just gold. Probably the whole forum, really, but I'm not about to spend time reading it.

I am blatantly rude to them, but it just seems to make them want me all the more.

 Wow... these people just seem to live in a different world to me.

And hale_bopp, I really hope you were joking about registering there.

I've got no intention to waste my time further. But people like that deserve a good kick in the shins. I've known many in my life.

Not much trust for a site called sosuave. This is also just pure BS from each guy posting.
