Yup. The Nintendo DS' Wi-Fi sucks if you don't have wireless Internet. I want to put my DS to good use by playing Metroid Prime Hunters online, but nanna can't afford wireless Internet or a Wi-Fi adapter. Plus, there's no Wi-Fi Hot Spots where I live, and I can't get to Adelaide to find one. Any other DS owners having this problem?

Hmm I see what you mean. Have you tried calling or going to your local gamming store?

There's no gaming stores in Murray Bridge, they're all in Adelaide. :(

Yeah, I tried plugging my router into the campus internet and it doesn't support the security I prefer, and when I finally do get it working the lag is so bad that no games will play. I got it working for a little bit, but then I ran into the problem of superplayers.

Check this device out. You can just plug this into any computer with a high speed connection, no wireless router required:

Nanna's connection is slow, so I don't think adapters will work.

Hmm..

well I'm not a techspert, I can tell you that if you have some way of modfying an online emulator it may work.

one of my friends said he did this. of course he's a genious, never does homework and always is videogaming (don't know when he actually sleeps) he's the guy behind that idea. of course this was on his home computer and not his actual school laptop.

Hmmm. Bugger. Especially if you want to get Final Fantasy III DS, as you need Wi-Fi to unlock Onion Knight and the ultimate enemy.....

Da, da-da, da-da-da-da-da-da-dun. Da-da-da, da-da-da-da, da-da-da-da-da-da-dun....

(That's the first bar or so of the Battle theme of "FFIII", sometimes known as "The Rocking Grounds" in the Black Mage remixes)

It's better than the original Final Fantasy's battle music, in terms of the NES sounds. And it is at least as good, if not better, in it's rearranged version.
